Liverpool street in the rain

In the middle of the night
long before the morning gloom

The house still kicks driving
beats
gluing minds; they are

the
4×4 of Helplessness Blues – like air

conditioning for broken windows
of perception;

it’s equity in essence:

those loose but interconnected
strings on driving house beats

driving forward

those loose but interconnected
strings between different heartbeats

an endless circle of relentless bass
mending broken bridges between
people – breaking down

the final frontiers
between personal spheres

painting strokes of harmony
in memory – relighting the lust for life

in the middle of the night
